Right now, the potential for evangelism on campus through video games is just exploding! With almost 700 digital community members, and over 65 campuses with student gaming champions identified, we are working our way through a lot of opportunities to find those God is truly igniting to reach their campus for Christ.
If it sounds like a lot of work, and a lot to keep track of, it sure is! Thankfully, we are not alone! Several other gaming ministries are collaborating with us. Also, at least a dozen people have approached us because they dream of using their love of the gaming community to pour into others through part-time or even full-time ministry.
Please pray that we would be able to create pathways for empowering and sending these potential missionaries.
The needs we see right now are to raise up:
1. Traveling Event Hosts: helping campus teams around the nation meet and share their faith with the gaming students on their campus.
2. Online Community Shepherds: training our students to be a light for Christ to their enormous gaming networks.
3. Social Media Personalities: potentially drawing tens of thousands of young viewers to Christ and sending them as global missionaries.
This is a big scope, a God-sized vision, and we need the Lord to pave the way.
Please pray for student champions, like:
Tyler, Gabi, Jarica, Seth, Sarah, and Terrick
Pray also for those hoping to guide them, like:
Jinsoo, Alexandra, Philip, Creighton, and Ethan
